This is certainly a manifestation of Weir's tendency towards micro-managing the availability of material content on at least this venue. Post 2003 AUDs are available for download at other lesser known sites as well as JGB and Grateful Dead SBD's. So is there some sort of discriminatory policy against the Archives?

Bands' policies toward LMA hosting vs. other downloading/trading may often differ. The scope, high profile, permanence, etc of this project can be factors in bands' individual decisions (positive or negative).
